Founded in 2016, Smith Street Books is an independent publishing company based in Melbourne (Naarm), Australia, with a reach across the book-loving world.
We make beautiful books with an emphasis on design and visual storytelling. We publish across the food and drink, lifestyle and art, and pop culture and humour categories, as well as children’s titles under our Little Smith imprint and gift titles under our Smith Street Gift imprint.
In Australia and New Zealand we’re distributed through Thames & Hudson AU, in the UK, Europe, Asia and Middle East through Thames & Hudson UK, and in the US, Canada and Latin America through Rizzoli New York.
